We are thrilled to share great news from the HMMT Math Competition.
Two of My STEM Help tutors, Andrew Zhang and Jason Zhong, participated in the competition as members of the Westchester Area Math Circle Team. After a full day of fierce competition consisting of individual rounds, team round, and gut round, the 6-student team won first place, beating over 100 participating teams!!
Founded in 1998, HMMT is one of the most prestigious and competitive high school math tournaments in the US. Each tournament draws close to one thousand students around the country, including top scorers at national and international math Olympiads.
Congratulations to Andrew, Jason and the entire WAMC team!!!
