Matthias

Matthias is an 11th-grader with a passion for both academics and athletics. With aspirations in computer programming, Matthias immerses himself in it along with a rigorous course load with courses including AP Computer Science, AP Government Politics, AP Macroeconomics, and AP Literature, along with honors classes

Beyond academics, Matthias is an accomplished swimmer, ranking among the top 10 in the state of Connecticut and holding the 13-14 100-meter breaststroke state record. Selected to attend UPenn's 'Zone Select Camp' for swimming, he exemplifies excellence in both sports and academics. Matthias is also recognized as a CT Swim Scholar-Athlete.

In his leisure time, Matthias enjoys playing chess with his friends. His diverse interests also extend to stock trading, adding depth to his extracurricular pursuits. With a keen interest in community service, Matthias enjoys supporting charitable causes and teaches children to swim at the Boys and Girls Club of Stamford.
