Natalie is a National Merit Semifinalist, a Coca-Cola Scholar Semifinalist, Department of Defense Scholar, with a 1600 SAT. She is currently a senior in high school, with a strong academic passion in STEM. She earned 5s in AP Calc BC, AP Computer Science A, AP Chem, AP Physics 1, AP Stats, AP English Lang and AP Chinese. She has taken Stanford's Multivariable Calculus courses, and is taking Stanford's Linear and Modern Algebra in her senior year. At school, she is the high school math team captain and the founder of the American Computer Science League (ACSL) club, and has been an assistant coach for the middle school MATHCOUNTS team for the past four years.
Natalie was one of four students to represent CT at the National MathCounts in 8th grade, and has since won math competitions including the Maryam Mirzakhani AMC 10 award (given to the top 5 AMC10 female scorers in New England), winner at Girls in Math at Yale high school math competition, top scorer at the the CT state math league (CSAML) and Fairfield County Math League (FCML). Besides math, Natalie also won the Technological Innovation award at the 2020 Connecticut Science Fair. She is a National finalist at the USA Chemistry Olympiad, and was selected as one of 40 national winners (out of 6000+ applicants) at NCWIT's Aspiration in Computing Award (AiC).
Natalie has attended some well known STEM summer camps, including Awesomemath, Stanford's artificial intelligence program (AI4ALL), Stanford's math summer camp (SUMaC), and Research Science Institute (RSI). She is a member of Mensa and the Study of Exceptional Talent (SET) by John's Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY). Outside of STEM, Natalie loves cooking, sailing and public speaking. She has been appearing on TV, hosting talent shows and advocating for girls in STEM.
