We are thrilled that our tutor Natalie Shell has qualified as a candidate for the very prestigious Presidential Scholars Program! According to the news coverage on Greenwich Time, “students do not apply to the program but are selected by achieving one of the state’s top ACT or SAT scores or through nomination.” Indeed, Natalie scored a perfect 1600 in SAT in December 2020, an amazing achievement by itself.
Congratulations, Natalie! We are all very proud of you!
Natalie joined My STEM Help in fall 2020 when she was a junior at Greenwich Academy. Since then, she has volunteered consistently in our weekly tutoring sessions and received many accolades from students who benefited tremendously from her hard work. We feel so fortunate to have such talented and devoted tutors like Natalie, who not only excel academically in school but also have a passion to help younger students succeed.
As a high school senior, Natalie will be going to college in the fall, and we wish her great success in college and beyond. In the meantime, we are eager to recruit more tutors, all the “young Natalies”, in the local community to help our continued effort. Rising freshmen and rising sophomores are especially welcome to apply!
Congratulations again, Natalie!!
